Who we are: Burningham Mining Group is a family-owned business based out of American Fork, UT.
What we are looking for: The Service Technician - Grease and Lube Heavy Equipment is responsible for performing lubrication and maintenance services on a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has extensive knowledge of lubrication systems, and understands the importance of preventative maintenance in ensuring equipment longevity and operational efficiency.
Duties Include:
- Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment to assess lubrication requirements.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of moving parts as per manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including fluid types and quantities used.
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues found during inspections.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and provide recommendations for repair or service.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any repairs needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and practices while performing maintenance and service tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by communicating findings and recommendations effectively.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, best practices, and safety regulations.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining heavy equipment, with a focus on lubrication and grease services.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- Knowledge of lubrication systems, including oil types, additives, and proper techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
