Join Smith Bros Tool as a Project Manager in the aerospace jig and fixture industry. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of tooling projects, from design and development to production readiness, ensuring they meet stringent technical, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones using project management software.
• Allocate resources, manage budgets, track costs, and keep projects within financial constraints.
• Ensure all tooling designs and manufacturing processes meet technical specifications, quality standards (AS9100), and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks (technical, supply chain, regulatory).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal leadership, providing regular updates on status, risks, and performance metrics.
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams to align toward common objectives.
• Address technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.

• 5–10 years of project management experience in aerospace manufacturing or tooling; 10+ years for senior roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, jig and fixture design principles, GD&T, and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works) is beneficial.
• PMP certification highly desirable; AS9100 or Lean/Six Sigma certifications valuable.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001.
