We are hiring for a part‑time Ophthalmic Technician who will support a high‑volume ophthalmic practice that focuses on providing quality and compassionate care to each patient needing complete eye care services.

The position will work 3 days per week (Monday‑Friday), with a varied daytime schedule, for approximately 15 hours per week.

• Obtain and document patient history.
• Determine visual acuity.
• Perform automated refraction.
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by the physician.
• Perform office duties and clinical tasks, including entering data into the EMR.
• Provide patient services.
• Maintain equipment and instruments.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Seek instruction in areas where knowledge is lacking.
• Recognize inconsistencies.

• Customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to make independent decision‑making.
• Dependable transportation required for travel to other offices as needed.
• Flexibility to travel to various locations.
• Graduation from an accredited high school.
