This position provides compassionate care to residents in Utica, MI. The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and fosters genuine relationships with seniors.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
• Report any changes in the resident’s condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license or .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
