Job Schedule

Training for 3 to 6 months: 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon - Thu, Fri & Sat as needed.

After training: 3:15 PM to 1:15 AM, Mon - Thu, Fri & Sat as needed.

About the Role of a Machine Operator Trainee

The Header and/or Roller Trainee is an entry‑level position for candidates inclined to learn and become qualified Cold Header or Thread Roller Operators. Experienced header and roller operators are in high demand and key to our business. The training program is set up like an apprenticeship, with classroom activities, hands‑on training and mentoring by highly experienced trainers and operators. Prior experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities of a Machine Operator Trainee

• Commit to daily perfect attendance during the training program.
• Participate fully in the training program.
• Learn to use appropriate tools, including measurement tools.
• Learn to operate and set up equipment.
• Learn to read and understand blueprints and job specs.
• Learn to check parts for surface discontinuities.
• Learn to weld wire.
• Participate in 5S housekeeping.

Additional Skills and/or Experience Required

• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, etc.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Able to commit to perfect attendance during the training schedule.
• Able to read job instructions.
• Able to complete required paperwork.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift and sit as needed throughout the day.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
