Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Summary:

Our fresh food associates help keep shelves stocked and ensure sanitary conditions of freezers and coolers. In the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service, helping members have a great shopping experience.

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by properly handling claims and returns, stocking merchandise, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required documentation.
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and promoting the Company s products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating and sanitizing equipment, following Cold Chain procedures, cleaning the area, and reporting issues to Management.
• Maintains proper temperature control and verifies expiration dates; disposes of lesser-quality products as needed.
• Packs ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocks displays; maintains a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
