Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM

• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed

• Charge capability highly preferred

• Floating to other units required

• Must wear navy blue scrubs

• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience

• Travel experience required

• Current certifications required: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active NY nursing license required with all RN licenses verified through NURSYS

• Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations

• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure

• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun

• 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references required

• Skills checklist matching specialty required

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 64-bed emergency department featuring 2 triage areas, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds. The facility provides advanced emergency medical services with state-of-the-art equipment and specializes in treating a wide range of critical conditions including stroke, trauma, and cardiac emergencies. The emergency department serves patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatric populations.
