IMCU/PCU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed).

The IMCU/PCU unit consists of 64 beds with 15 designated Neuro beds, accommodating patients aged 18 and older suffering from various conditions including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, and Respiratory issues such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, and post-operative care. This role involves managing patients on chronic vents with assistance from RT.

• Provide care for patients in an IMCU/PCU setting.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize specialty equipment including Temp pacers, Chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap.
• Engage in floating across different units as required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
• Travel experience is required.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• A valid driver's license with an address matching demographics.
• NURSYS report for license verification with an active NY license and all RN licenses.
• 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references.
• EMR experience, specifically with EPIC.
