Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM; floating required; block scheduling not guaranteed

Highlights:

• 64-bed progressive care unit with 15 designated neuro beds serving adult patients 18 years and older
• Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Experience with specialty equipment: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, Vapo, and chronic vents with respiratory therapy support
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Travel assignment requiring 2+ years IMCU/PCU experience
• Navy blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license and all current RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU experience with documented travel nursing experience
• 2 recent IMCU Charge or Manager RN references required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license with address matching application demographics
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
