  Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience; resume must document travel experience.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Active New York RN license required, with Nursys verification of all RN licenses.
• Unit
  
  Description:
  
  64-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), including 15 designated neuro beds. Cares for adult patients with neurological, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions, including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and postoperative cases. Chronic ventilator patients may be assigned, with respiratory therapy support.
• Equipment:
  Temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo.
• Radius Rule:
  Locals accepted. Candidates living less than 75 miles qualify for local rates.
• Block Scheduling:
  Not guaranteed.

• Scrubs:
  Navy blue.
