Welder​/Fitter

Position: Welder/Fitter Opportunity
Become a Welder/Fitter at DECAST in Utopia, ON and engage with cutting-edge technology in the infrastructure sector. Your hands-on experience will enhance our production of high-quality precast products.

Working under the Production Supervisor, you will fabricate and assemble metal components per engineered blueprints. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical skill set, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various fabrication tools safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MIG, plasma, and other welding equipment

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal formwork

• Interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics

• Maintain tools and follow safety procedures

• Collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• CWB Ticket is mandatory

• Minimum 4 years of welding experience

• Proficient in reading blueprints

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Overhead crane and rigging knowledge
