BREEAM, or the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, is the world’s oldest sustainability assessment system for buildings and developments.

Originally developed in the UK, it is now used in around 80 countries globally. BREEAM focuses on environmentally responsible construction and improving the environmental performance of buildings. By assessing criteria such as energy efficiency, waste management, and material usage, BREEAM provides an integrated framework for building design and execution. It also offers insights into the actual sustainability performance of your building.

How we support you  As BREEAM Experts, we provide guidance from the design phase through to execution, ensuring that all sustainability measures are correctly implemented. We support new builds, refurbishments, existing buildings, and demolition projects. We also offer expertise in BREEAM Area Development.
In addition to acting as BREEAM Experts, we can also take on the role of BREEAM Assessors. At the end of the design phase or during implementation, we assess whether the project meets BREEAM requirements and compile an assessment report. This report is randomly audited by the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC), which then issues the (design) certificate.
