Senior System Engineer – “Architecture & Integration”
We are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to support Materiel Project Phases DMP-B and DMP-D. You will be responsible for the overall systems engineering approach, design development, verification and validation activities, and the effective coordination of technical teams and project interfaces.
Tasks and activitiesThe scope of work will include:
- Contributing to system design, architecture, development, integration, verification and validation for navalships.
- Establishing and maintaining the project verification and validation framework.
- Assessing design against requirements; document system decomposition.
- Maintaining the project design dossier, ensuring consistency, traceability and alignment with programme requirements.
- Supporting negotiations and change proposals.
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- Technical academic degree (WO/Master’s level) in Engineering, Physics, Aeronautics Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Additional training or certification in Systems Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering and the design, development and integration of complex systems.
- Proficient in PDM (or PLM), MBSE tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
