Are you an experienced R&I leader with a strong background in medical devices development within regulated environments? We have an exciting opportunity as  Senior Team Leader - Medical Devices  within Danone’s Specialized Nutrition business.

Our team’s mission is to identify, develop, and deliver innovative medical devices and health solutions that support the Flocare® portfolio and Danone’s long‑term health innovation strategy, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Our key deliverables and priorities include

Building and leading an agile medical devices innovation platform to support category strategy.

Delivering a robust pipeline of new and improved medical device products and services.

Ensuring full compliance with MDR, ISO 13485, and applicable international standards.

Bridging internal R&I capabilities with external partners, technologies, and co‑development opportunities.

Optimizing resources, timelines, and budgets across complex development portfolios.

Your role
In your role as  Senior Team Leader – Medical Devices , and as part of the SN R&I Packaging & Medical Devices Team you will be accountable for end‑to‑end medical device design, development, design change control and innovation delivery.

Your key responsibilities will be

Leading and developing an international team of product technologists and engineers.

Driving medical device design & development projects from concept to transfer into manufacturing.

Ensuring design & design change control, technical documentation, and specification readiness.

Acting as a senior technical partner to Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, and external manufacturing partners.

Managing multiple projects with clear plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management.

About You
You are a  senior innovation leader  who combines deep  medical device expertise  with  business acumen  and  people leadership . You have a user‑centric and patient‑safety mindset, and have a strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills. You bring an analytical, structured, and decision‑oriented approach, while having an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to generate and drive innovation. Finally, you have the ability to manage complexity, priorities, and multiple projects simultaneously.

You also bring

Extensive experience in medical device design & development within regulated environments.

Masters Degree in Industrial Design or Mechatronics.

Strong working knowledge of EU MDR (2017/745), ISO 13485, and risk management (ISO 14971).

Proven leadership experience managing international technical teams.

Solid understanding of enteral feeding technologies, medical plastics, and outsourced manufacturing.

Experience collaborating with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Clinical, and external SMEs.
