Energy Operations Specialist

Withthegrid is active in the cleantech sector, helping grid operators, water boards, and renewable energy producers manage their infrastructure more intelligently and efficiently. Their Asset Monitoring Platform (AMP) provides real-time insights into network conditions using IoT technology, enabling clients to monitor assets more efficiently, resolve issues faster, and plan maintenance more effectively.

As an energy operations specialist, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the energy transition. You will help us successfully roll out our innovative Teleport solutions and bridge the gap between smart software and physical energy installations in the field. Your responsibilities will include supporting installers, system design and configuration, implementing smart control logic, building strong relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.

• Support and guide installers:
  You are the first technical contact point for installers during integration
• System design & configuration:
  Translate operational requirements into the best configuration
• Implement smart control logic:
  Configure local control logic for energy assets
• Build strong relationships:
  Translate operational feedback into technical requirements
• Ensure operational excellence:
  Manage the deployment process remotely
• HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Energy Technology or a similar field
• Experience with industrial communication protocols or basic principles of IT networks
