Position: Independent working cook

Stayokay Utrecht Centrum  is a super cool and hip hostel on the Neude, a 10-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station. A real meeting place for travelers, families, but also for students who come to study or have drinks in our living area and restaurant The 5th.

Are you a real go-getter with a passion for cooking? We are looking for you to join our team as  independent working cook .

You will…

contribute your ideas for the menu. We love variety, initiative, and creativity.

cook for guests with the kitchen team or as independent cook.

get to work with everything that has to do with a kitchen, from maintaining kitchen materials and placing orders to planning and exchanging ideas

You have ...

appetite and a passion for cooking

relevant prior experience, you know what needs to happen in a kitchen and how to create new and delicious (and cost-conscious) recipes. We would love to learn from you!

a minimum MBO level 3 education

experience with the HACCP-quality system (Hazard analysis critical control points) and follow those rules

an open-mind and drive and finds sustainability important!
