Security Professional

What You’ll Do

As a Security Specialist, you play a key role in strengthening Rabobank’s security posture. You work closely with engineers, architects, Security Champions, Information Security Officers and CISO colleagues to embed security into every stage of development.

• Performing in‑depth reviews of security documentation, architecture and designs
• Facilitating threat modeling and security risk assessments
• Embedding security controls and best practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Advising on secure design, implementation and application lifecycle management
• Co‑developing internal security tools, services and automation
• Creating tailored security training materials for different teams and roles
• Improving visibility through metrics, dashboards and storytelling
• Actively engaging in chapters, guilds and Agile ceremonies

In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor, a hands‑on engineer, and a connector across teams and domains.

You’re a security enabler: someone who combines technical depth with strong communication skills. You simplify complexity, take ownership, and thrive in collaborative environments.

• An analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
• Strong knowledge of secure software development, threat modeling and cloud security (Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, security automation and tooling (SAST, DAST, SIEM)
  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with security design, architecture reviews or platforms like Cloud Foundry, PEGA or BI tooling is a plus
• Great communication skills and enjoy working in a team
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Bonus:

• A gross monthly salary up to €5,300.48 (scale
  8)
• Thirteenth (13th) month’s salary and (8%) holiday allowance
