Senior/Medior Finance Consultant - D365 Finance & Operations

About the role
We're recruiting on behalf of a small, established boutique Microsoft Partner, based near Utrecht, looking to add a Finance Consultant to their D365 F&O team. This is a genuine consultancy role, you'd be working across client projects, on-site when needed, with real variety and challenging work from day one.
The business has ambitious plans to grow, but deliberately organically, they're focused on bringing in the right people, not just filling headcount, and the result is a close-knit team working on large, genuinely interesting Dutch projects rather than a high-volume delivery bench.
What you'll be doing
Delivering D365 F&O Finance module implementations and optimisation projects for clients
Working across the full project lifecycle - requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, go-live and support
Acting as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on Finance processes within D365 F&O
Travelling to client sites as needed, balanced with home and office-based work
What we're looking for
Medior or Senior level D365 F&O Finance experience
Strong functional depth in core Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
Fluent Dutch required
Commutable to Utrecht for office days as needed
Comfortable with a hybrid, client-facing consultancy role involving regular travel
