We’re seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in Cisco ACI and automation to join our hybrid team in Utrecht . You’ll play a key role in both day-to-day network operations and strategic project delivery , helping to maintain and evolve a secure, high-performing enterprise network.
What you’ll do:
Manage and support complex Cisco ACI infrastructures, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
Contribute to network integrations, migrations, and upgrades across data centre environments
Implement network automation using Ansible , streamlining deployment and configuration processes
Oversee network security , including segmentation, policy enforcement, and traffic control within ACI
Perform change management activities and ensure compliance with operational standards
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing escalation support when needed
Participate in a standby rotation (1 week every 7 weeks) to support critical incidents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, scalable network solutions
What we’re looking for:
Proven hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI and related Cisco networking technologies
Strong understanding of network security principles , including firewalls, segmentation, and access control
Proficiency in Ansible or other network automation tools
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
