The Copack Planning Specialist is responsible for creating a weekly supply plan for copacking activities in the Netherlands & Belgium. The objective is to ensure optimal stock levels and service performance. In addition, the Copack Planning Specialist is ultimately responsible for long‑term capacity planning, ensuring that customers are served on time and with optimal stock levels. You will also be part of multiple project teams to successfully launch new products on the market.
As a Copack Planning Specialist, you will work closely with various internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Sales, Shopper Marketing, Marketing & Procurement) and external stakeholders (copack partners).
- Maintaining a helicopter view of the copack operations, including managing and executing the copack plan, and closely monitoring material inventories and copacker availability;
- Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure deliveries meet agreed service levels while staying within defined min–max stock ranges;
- Participating in (international) projects related to copacking, inventory management, and packaging sustainability, while working to optimise copack items and reduce complexity;
- Initiating the implementation process for NPDs, displays, or outer cases, supporting product specifications, logistics data, and Bill of Materials (BOM) setup;
- Monitoring obsolete stock with the aim of minimising scrapping.
- 2–3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Sales (e.g. Demand, Inventory, or Supply Planning);
- A strong personality with drive, leadership potential, and initiative;
- A proactive mindset, with a focus on identifying improvements and optimising processes;
- Affinity with operations (including understanding of procurement, sourcing, and manufacturing);
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems to identify root causes;
- Project management skills and the ability to independently lead projects.
