As an Industrial Export Packer, you will be responsible for preparing large goods for international transport by road, sea, or air. You will work with a partner or small team, using your technical and spatial insight to create wooden floors, build crates, and secure items in containers. Each morning, the packaging teams receive their assignments, and you get started based on the project instructions.

Sometimes you work from a technical drawing, but often you’ll use your own judgement to find the best packaging solution for the shipment’s route and type. You’ll consider factors like temperature changes, movement at sea, and the center of gravity. If a wooden floor is needed and it’s too large for the fabrication department, you and your teammate will build it yourself in the packaging hall.

You will learn the trade on the job, working alongside experienced packers who will teach you everything from start to finish. With over 35 friendly colleagues on site, you can count on a helpful and relaxed atmosphere, where everyone knows each other and teamwork is key. Basic English skills (A2): "Basic language skills are sufficient for this position – understanding simple instructions and the ability to communicate at work."

• Experience in construction or woodworking is a plus

• A gross hourly wage of 16; paid weekly
