You will work within the Diagnostic Imaging discipline as part of a team of board-certified diagnostic imaging specialists (DipECVDI), residents, technicians, and animal care staff. The Diagnostic Imaging Department within the Department of Clinical Sciences performs a wide range of imaging procedures annually—including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and SPECT-CT—on horses, farm animals, and companion animals.

- At least one year of experience in equine medicine within a specialist clinic (“internship”), or at least two years of experience in a well-equipped veterinary practice (equine and/or companion animals), supported by strong references.
- High motivation and a demonstrated interest in veterinary diagnostic imaging.
- An understanding that the training programme, in addition to clinical duties, has a strong academic focus and includes scientific training, with an affinity for research (goal: two scientific publications).
- Experience in teaching or continuing education, as you will contribute to student instruction (this is an advantage).
- A strong commitment to the core values of the Diagnostic Imaging discipline: quality, client service, and efficiency.
- The ability to work well in a team, combined with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written. Dutch is recommended but not proficient at the start of the position.
