Are you an ambitious Junior Project Manager who likes to work in an European environment? We are looking for a keen and talented colleague to coordinate on a country-level the implementation of a clinical trial.
About EcraidEstablished in January 2022, the European Clinical Research Alliance on Infectious Diseases (Ecraid) is an operational clinical research organisation dedicated to reducing the impact of infectious diseases on individual and population health. We focus on two main areas:
Setting up and performing high quality clinical trials on infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance and building a strong and unique academic clinical research network with broad European support.

Your roleAs a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the operational set up & execution of a clinical trial in 1-3 European countries, all within the applicable laws and regulations, ICH/GCP guidelines and SOPs. For example, you support in setting up a study by performing regulatory submissions of study documents, negotiating contracts with study sites and checking the quality of data produced by a study site.
Quality is our top priority (''audit ready at all times''). You will be guided by a (senior) Project Manager. Our large scale European projects are either financed from public funds or directly by pharmaceutical clients.
To succeed in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experience are required:
- You have 0-3 years relevant operational experience (trial coordinator within a hospital, CRA/clinical trial administrator within a CRO or pharmaceutical company).
- HBO/ Master degree towards Life sciences and/or Biomedical sciences
- Experience in scientific clinical research
- Knowledge of (inter) national laws and regulations, ICH and GCP
- Use of applications (such as EDC tools)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- You are already based in the Netherlands

This position is offered on a temporary one-year employment contract, with the potential for extension. We offer a monthly gross salary of between €3 764,20 and €5 418,13 that commensurate with experience, based on a full‑time workweek of 36 hours.
