Are you an experienced Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA) or a fresh graduate with a passion for clinical research? We are seeking colleagues who can contribute to the seamless execution of clinical trials and provide invaluable support to both the study and project management teams.

Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Ecraid is the first network of its kind in Europe to offer a single point of access to a pan‑European clinical research network for infectious diseases that spans over 1,250 clinical sites and 900 laboratories across 42 countries.

Your roleAs a CTA, you will work closely with and report to the senior CTAs and/or senior project leads to contribute to the smooth execution of clinical trials. Your responsibilities include:
- Efficiently handling of contract management for our study sites, ensuring timely and accurate processing of signed contracts
- Taking charge of archiving all study documents, maintaining a systematic and organized approach to facilitate study reproduction, thus contributing to high‑quality research
- Providing valuable support to the study and project management teams, including tasks such as taking minutes, organising meetings, communicating with hospitals, and diligent follow‑up on outstanding tasks

- An experienced CTA with a supportive mindset
- Or a fresh graduate with a passion for research
If you have a few years of relevant work experience as a CTA and at least a MBO degree, you are encouraged to apply. If you enjoy contributing to scientific research in a supportive role and thrive in the academic world, this role is an ideal fit for you.
Alternatively, if you have just completed a college/university degree without relevant work experience and aspire to build a career in research, this position provides an excellent starting point. You will undergo training to become a CTA within a year, with the potential to advance to junior project manager role based on your performance and growth.
Who are you?To excel in this position, we seek candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Fast learner of computer programmes
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
- Systematic and methodical approach to work
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Enjoy working in an international environment
- A (bio) medical background/education is advantageous
- You live in the Netherlands (preferably near Utrecht)
We offer a challenging and meaningful job in an inspiring work environment in Utrecht, where you will be surrounded by intelligent, collaborative and enthusiastic colleagues. This position is offered on a temporary one‑year employment contract, with the potential for extension. We offer a monthly gross salary of between €3 019,71 and €4 243,02 that commensurate with experience, and based on a full‑time workweek of 36 hours.
