As a software engineer, iOS, you will contribute to ViCentra's expanding in-house mobile engineering team and to the long-term development of the Kaleido App. This practical engineering role involves developing iOS software in Swift that interfaces with regulated medical devices, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations while improving user experience. You will set technical direction, mentor less experienced engineers, and have a direct impact on patient safety and product quality.

• Design, implement, and maintain iOS applications (Swift) used in conjunction with ViCentra's medical devices
• Lead and contribute to projects across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through testing, release, and maintenance
• Set technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase, writing clean, well-structured, and testable code aligned with design specifications and best practices
• Lead peer code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers, driving knowledge sharing across the mobile team
• Support verification, validation, and release activities, including the required quality system documentation
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable medical device standards
• Collaborate closely with usability, testing, systems, cloud, quality, and regulatory teams
• Contribute to building a best-in-class mobile development environment within a regulated context
• Bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development with Swift
• Experience across all development stages, including software architecture and design, testing, release, and maintenance
• Solid understanding of software testing practices for embedded applications
