Vitestro is active in pioneering the future of blood collection with the Aletta® Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ (ARPD™). Founded in 2017 in Utrecht, the company combines advanced multi-modal imaging with robotics and AI to perform diagnostic blood draws autonomously, addressing healthcare staffing shortages and enhancing patient experiences.
As a medior C++ software engineer, you will take ownership of software components within our hardware-integrated systems. You will design, implement, and improve robust C++ software that interacts with multiple subsystems and real-time environments. Collaborating closely with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and other software developers, you will ensure system reliability, maintainability, and performance, contributing to the innovative work at Vitestro.
- Take ownership of software components within hardware-integrated systems
- Ensure system reliability, maintainability, and performance
- Work on new features in the scope of the motion team
- Solve complex integration issues from production and the field
- Contribute to improving existing software architecture
- Design, implement, and improve robust C++ software
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and systems engineers
- Contribute to debugging, automated testing, and code reviews
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4–7 years of experience developing C++ software in a professional environment
- Proven experience designing and maintaining production-level software systems
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20)
