MIG Welder - Rocester

Do you have MIG Welding experience? JCB, the UK's leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, are looking for keen and talented MIG Welders to join us at one of our sites in Staffordshire. The MIG Welder role comes with a favourable starting hourly rate of £17.94 per hour. Here are some of the daily tasks you could be handling in this fast-paced, target-driven environment:
Welding in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) using MIG welding of mild steel. You must possess the ability to read and understand welding drawings Have effective verbal, and written skills

To apply for the MIG Welding position, you will need an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and a good timekeeping and attendance record. Previous MIG welding experience is essential for this position. All applicants will be required to successfully complete a client specific weld test on-site at JCB as part of the assessment process. This may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld.

Ideally you will need to be flexible and willing to work days and nights, potentially on a rotational basis. Shift allowances will be paid in addition to an hourly rate where applicable. In return for your skills and hard work, you will enjoy benefits, including:
