We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team in Uttoxeter. What you will do:

• Deliver evidence-based mental health and substance misuse interventions while managing a clinical caseload.
• Complete comprehensive mental health assessments, reviews, and care planning using the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
• Work collaboratively with individuals, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Support service users from assessment through to discharge, ensuring effective transitions between services where appropriate.
• Promote recovery and rehabilitation, enabling individuals to achieve positive mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and respond effectively to crisis situations.
• Provide supervision and support to junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Experience working within mental health services, including assessment, care planning, and risk management.
• Knowledge of recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches to care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload.
• Experience with in prison healthcare is desirable but not essential.
