Front Line Manager – Warehouse

Operations Manager Ready to lead from the front? ATL is a trusted logistics partner specialising in streamlined supply chains, efficient warehousing and seamless transportation. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Front Line Manager to join our Warehouse operation in Marchington . This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take responsibility for your shift, lead and develop a team of warehouse colleagues and make sure daily operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing Leading your team Lead, motivate and support a team of warehouse colleagues. Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, communicating priorities, targets and safety messages. Manage performance, attendance, training and development.

Address team concerns and resolve issues effectively. Complete Return to Work and Bradford Factor meetings where required. Managing warehouse operations Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing and shipping. Monitor productivity, accuracy, throughput and order fulfilment. Ensure effective communication and handovers between shifts. Maintain high Health & Safety standards across the operation. Ensure all work meets ATL's quality standards.

Driving performance and improvement Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance. Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions. Implement best practices to improve workflow, productivity and cost efficiency. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections. Provide clear updates and operational reports to management. What we're looking for You'll ideally have:
Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment. Experience leading, supervising or managing a team. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software. A good understanding of modern warehousing practices. Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills. Confidence managing performance and having constructive conversations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

The ability to remain organised and focused in a fast-paced environment. GCSE-level English and Maths, or equivalent. A high level of honesty and integrity.
