FLT Counterbalance / Reach Truck Drivers
Location:
Burton-on-Trent
Positions Available: 3-4 FLT Drivers
Hours:
48 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.45 per hour (including shift premium)
Overtime: £19.91 per hour
- 48 hours per week
- Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Night shift patterns:
- Sunday-Thursday, or
- Monday-Friday
- 3 days of initial site training
- Immediate starts available
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Move pallets and stock around the warehouse and storage areas.
- Put away incoming stock into the correct locations.
- Pick and replenish stock as required.
- Load pallets and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Check stock and ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
- Complete daily FLT safety checks before operating the truck.
- Follow all warehouse health & safety procedures and site regulations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
. - Previous FLT warehouse experience.
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
- Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.
- Ability to work night shifts.
- Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidates, depending on performance, reliability and attendance.
