The Governing Body of Harefield Infant and Junior School is seeking an efficient and organised person with administration skills for the post of Clerk to the Governing Body.

The clerk will be responsible for understanding and advising the governing body on its core funcitions and responsibilities as well as ensuring complienance with relevant legislations. They will also ensure that all meeting are conducted as required including taking and distributing minutes, maintaining attendance records, offering procedural advice and guidance during and between meetings and managing any follow up action as required or as directed by the governing body.

• Regular access to a computer with e‑mail facilities.

Governing body meetings are held in the evenings and during the day on the schools premises. Previous clerking experience is desirable but training and support will be provided.
