Position Overview
We are appointing a Senior Recruitment Support Officer to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Recruitment Support function. The role reports to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions, line‑manages the Recruitment Support team, and ensures coordination and delivery of recruitment support across the department.
ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will collaborate closely with admissions, UK recruitment, widening access, international recruitment and the language centre to plan and deliver recruitment events, visits and programmes. Key duties include:
- Coordinating and managing the team’s daily activities to meet high standards of customer service.
- Supporting planning and logistical arrangements for recruitment events, including non‑standard hours during peak activity.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and systems and supporting budget management through financial processing.
- Acting as deputy for the Associate Director and participating in major institutional events such as Clearing.
- Effective team leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational, planning and coordination abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and solution‑focused approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing demands
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases

Grade 7, £41,292 – £48,557 per annum (inclusive of London weighting), potential progression to £52,761 per annum with sustained exceptional contribution. - Hours
