Hospital Ward Refurbishment Project Manager; NEC

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Principal Contractor delivering a major healthcare refurbishment scheme in West London.

The successful candidate will take the lead on a live hospital ward refurbishment project, managing works from pre-construction through to completion while ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

This role would suit a strong construction professional with refurbishment experience within complex live environments. Previous healthcare project experience is desirable; however, strong NEC contract knowledge is essential.

• Lead day-to-day project delivery on live hospital ward refurbishment works
• Manage programme, cost, quality, and subcontractor performance
• Coordinate site teams, consultants, and client stakeholders
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with NHS and infection control requirements
• Drive programme performance and resolve project risks/issues proactively
• Administer and manage NEC contract obligations
• Maintain excellent communication with all project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and company standards

• Proven experience delivering refurbishment or fit-out projects as a Project Manager
• NEC contract experience is mandatory
• Experience working for a Tier 1 Principal Contractor preferred
• Healthcare/NHS project experience desirable
• Strong understanding of live environment construction delivery
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
