We are seeking applications for a full‑time Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Team at Colne Ward and Light House located at Riverside Centre in Uxbridge, Middlesex.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the Multi‑disciplinary Team for patients age 18 and over who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness admitted to the Light House and Colne Ward.

The candidate should be on GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.

CNWL has built on excellent links with Brunel University
; successful candidate will have the option to take up an extra 1PA as an educational post.

This post attracts a 30K Golden Hello (taxable and non‑pensionable), relocation package for up to £8K (subject to eligibility) as well as a generous annual leave and study budget. We also offer a range of staff discounts including discount on the purchase and lease of new cars.

The Light House is a 4‑beded area within the Hillingdon Hospital, which provides 24/7 a safe and secure environment for patients with an acute mental health condition admitted to A&E Department.

Colne Ward is an 8‑bed unit for patients aged 18 and over. It is a Trust‑wide provision with a proportion of patients coming from other boroughs if no available beds were available at the time of admission.
