About the roleDo you have excellent customer service skills? Would you enjoy working with young people in a learning environment? We are looking for a positive, pro‑active team member to provide support to our students through the work of the College’s Learning Resource Centres at our Uxbridge and Hayes campuses.
You will play a key part in ensuring the Learning Resource Centre is a suitable learning environment at all times. You will handle enquiries from students and staff on busy service desks and by e‑mail and telephone, and assist students on using online resources, databases and print resources. You will have direct responsibility for liaison for a Curriculum Area within the College to support the purchase of resources.
Together with excellent communication and inter‑personal skills, you should have good working knowledge of IT and experience gained in a busy, customer‑focused environment. You will have the confidence to address young people aged 16‑18 and manage behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. For individuals who start a term‑time only role after 1 September, the salary will be pro‑rated from the start date to the end of this academic year (31 August 2026).
