Overview
Our Travel and Tourism section at Uxbridge Campus offers a range of travel-related courses to our learners, with a focus on the airline/aviation and hospitality industries. Working with local employers at and around Heathrow airport, we successfully prepare learners for careers in the sector and/or higher education.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and successful team on a full-time basis, to teach on a range of Travel and Tourism courses to our students, predominantly 16–19-year-olds, from Level 1 to Level 5.
Responsibilities- Teach a range of Travel and Tourism courses to students largely aged 16–19, across Levels 1 to 5.
- Engage and motivate young vocational learners in the classroom.
- Develop your teaching practice and attain a Level 5 teaching qualification, fully funded by the College.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (a degree is highly desirable).
- Experience working in the travel industry.
- Teaching or training experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
