SEN Teacher – Hillingdon – SEN School – £36,000–£57,000 + SEN Allowance – Full Time – ASAP Start

* SEN Teacher – QTS required

* SEN Teacher – Experience working with pupils with MLD and SLD required

* SEN Teacher – Able to commute to Hillingdon easily

* SEN Teacher – Required full time to start ASAP

The Role – SEN Teacher

Seeking a committed and skilled SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting on a full-time basis. You will deliver a highly differentiated and personalised curriculum for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties, adapting teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes. The role requires strong classroom practice, clear structure and a nurturing approach to support communication, independence and engagement. One post offers the opportunity to take on a Literacy Lead responsibility, contributing to whole-school literacy development.

You will work closely with support staff and multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe, consistent and positive learning environment where pupils can make sustained progress.

The School – SEN Teacher

This school is a non-maintained special school in Hillingdon supporting pupils aged 7–19 with moderate to severe and complex learning needs, including autism, speech, language and communication difficulties, and sensory processing needs. The school provides both day and residential provision within a nurturing, structured environment that focuses on individual progress, independence and wellbeing. In its most recent Ofsted inspection (July 2022), the school was judged ‘Good’ overall with their aim to reach ‘Outstanding’ in their next report.
