- Salary £1,174.05 per 14-night student programme
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of ANGLO teenage students
- Work closely with colleagues in the teaching team to deliver the ANGLO experience
- Embrace the communicative approach to language teaching and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment in language lessons,excursion lessons and project lessons.
- Liaising with the Teaching Manager and/or WTS with regards to all relevant teaching and student matters
- Teaching levels andcourse types as directed by the TM/WTS, planning all classes sufficiently and marking students’ work
- Selecting appropriate supplementary materials demonstrating sensitivity to the students’ needs and cultural backgrounds
- Completing a weekly scheme of work
- Completing attendance registers accurately and reporting any absence or sickness tothe TM/ATM at the beginning of each lesson
- Being familiar with,and following guidelines outlined in the Teacher Manual
- Attending and participating in teacher briefings, meetings and CPD sessions when required
- Ensuring students are prepared for presentations, excursions, and cultural visits
- Responding to anyissues, incidents and/or complaints in an appropriate andtimely manner; ensuring that the Teaching Manager is informed as required
- Exploiting every opportunity for students to learn English both inside and outside the classroom
- Creating a positive learning environment which is well-organised and supports the introduction of British culture as part of the curriculum
- Providing students with adequate feedback on their work
- Accurately completing the students’ academic reports
- Following ANGLO’ssafeguarding and welfare policies at all times
- Demonstrating a highlevel of professionalism at all times
Essential(Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements)
- You have the rightto work in the UK
- University degree +TEFLI qualification or equivalent experience (e.g.: CELTA,Trinity CertTESOL, PGCE, 120 hour TEFL course)
- Dynamic teaching approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player attitude
- Commitment tohigh-quality customer service, displaying a positive “can-do” attitude
- Ability to workunder pressure, strong work ethic and ability to implement change
- Committed to continuing professional development
- Prior experience of teaching U18s
- Experience of project-based courses and/or task-based learning
- Experience of Trinity GESE exams

Full bed andboard is provided
Hours:
72 hours per 14-night student programme, plus one 6-hour paid induction and two 1-hour CPD sessions on campus. No overtime payment unless agreed in advance with Head Office.
On rare occasions wehave to offer 14-night 36 hour programmes, in which case hours and remuneration are halved. We will always let you know if this happens.
