Senior Clinical Lecturer – Permanent
We are recruiting a Senior Clinical Lecturer to serve as Academic Primary Care Lead for Year 3 for a 5‑year duration, with a potential to extend. The postholder will also lead on Professionalism across the entire 5‑year MBBS programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, delivery, quality management and enhancement of Phase 2 Year 3 undergraduate medical education within the primary care setting.
- Contribute to other areas of medical education, including team‑based learning (TBL), the House Tutor system, multiple mini interview and OSCE activities.
- Participate in the ongoing GMC accreditation process and other institutional medical‑education quality assurance.
- Assume leadership roles that may rotate depending on programme requirements.
- Senior clinician, GMC registered with a licence to practise and currently practising as a GP.
- Experience of educational leadership and a track record of high‑quality undergraduate medical education, preferably in a university‑affiliated role.
- Experience of primary‑care undergraduate teaching with a wide range of educational experience and skills.
- GMC licence to practise and eligibility to live and work in the UK.
