Position: Lecturer in Accounting and Finance - 14571

We are seeking an enthusiastic and collegial Lecturer (Teaching & Research) in Accounting & Finance to join our vibrant academic community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, research-informed, practice-oriented teaching and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including overseas partnered programmes.
  • Engage actively in curriculum development, innovative teaching and assessment practices, student engagement, and recruitment activities.
  • Maintain an internationally recognised research programme, producing high-quality outputs in line with  and demonstrating sustained contribution to the field.
  • Apply for and secure external research funding.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Ability to teach a broad spectrum of accounting subjects such as financial and management accounting, as well as topics related to financial management and financial markets.
  • Willingness to incorporate emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence applications into teaching, assessment and curriculum.
  • Strong commitment to research-informed and practice-oriented teaching, with a record of research output and external funding.
Employment Details
  • Location: Brunel University of London, Uxbridge Campus
  • Salary: Grade 8 from £45,390 to £58,263 inclusive of London Weighting, with potential to progress to £65,236 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Contract Type: Permanent
