Electrical Lecturer - AM2 Qualified
£40-£45 per hour | Long-Term Contract
We're currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lecturer with an AM2 qualification to join a further education setting on a long-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Lecturer with a strong electrical installations background who is passionate about developing the next generation of electricians.
The Role- Deliver engaging electrical installation theory and practical training.
- Support learner progress, achievement and career development.
- Develop learners' technical and practical skills.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Support progression into employment, apprenticeships and further study.
- Ensure all teaching and practical activities meet relevant health & safety standards.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Lecturer or teacher within Electrical Installation/FE.
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- AM2 qualification - essential.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for teaching and supporting learner success.
- Strong understanding of electrical health & safety.
- Relevant teaching qualification desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding, KCSIE and Prevent training
