Field Technician

Are you interested in Materials Testing? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Field Technician, playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.

We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Field Technician to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. The role requires you to thrive in a team environment and work independently to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications. All testing will be undertaken in line with a range of British, European and American standards so a good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials
• Daily field testing
• Collection of samples for laboratory testing

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Ability to work alone onsite
• Responsible attitude towards equipment and vehicle maintenance
• Good communication skills

About Materials Testing

Our Materials Testing Team performs an extensive range of testing and compliance services across a wide range of construction projects including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadiums in addition to new build projects across industrial, commercial and residential properties.
