Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer on our new highways project in Beverley, you will work closely with the Senior Engineer and wider site team to provide setting out and engineering control on site. You will support the successful delivery of the project in line with the client’s objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental performance and cost control.

• Help create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate site engineering activities and share information with operatives and subcontractors.
• Complete daily diary sheets and provide photographic records.
• Carry out material reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
• Calibrate surveying equipment and complete as‑built surveys.
• Produce 2D and 3D site sketches and assist with maintaining quality records.
• Support basic planning activities, mentor junior engineers, manage waste control and help introduce improved processes.

• Able to work safely and interpret data and drawings accurately.
• Experience with standard setting out techniques (Level, EDM and GPS).
• Adaptable with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Minimum HND in a relevant subject and a valid CSCS card.
