Inspection Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Complex equipment used on aircraft is made to the highest engineering, quality and safety standards – you know this because you’re a quality engineer from the aerospace or military defence sector.

You’ll be the main point of contact between the inspection department, their suppliers, and internal manufacturing departments.

You’ll undertake audits, analyze FAIR reports to identify gaps and implement resolutions.

Resolutions include corrective actions to designs, manufacturing processes and training needs for individuals and supplier organisations.

You’ll need significant experience in FAIRs within an aerospace or defence engineering environment combined with a formal engineering qualification.

A knowledge of QWI, QAI, AS9102 FAIR, AS9100 audits and ISO standards is required.
