Manager, Finance – Kite ACE RegionBased at Stockley Park, UK – 3 days a week in office. The role reports to the Senior Finance Director, ACE Region.
About the PositionThe Finance Manager will support the Kite ACE Region team (Australia, Canada, Europe) by managing day‑to‑day financial activities, partnering with international colleagues, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating regional revenue and OPEX, and maintaining the planning system (SAP) for actuals reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities (included but not limited to):- Day‑to‑day leadership & management of Kite ACE Finance activities.
- Strategic business partner lead for the Midsize Markets sub‑region, coordinating with country teams and cross‑functional regional leadership.
- Business partnering, performance and forecasting support for regional budgets and planning.
- Perform revenue and OPEX consolidation with affiliate teams and the Global FP&A team.
- Assist in developing and coordinating financial budgets (OPEX, headcount) for local affiliates and Stockley Park.
- Support the accounting close process by analysing variances and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Provide SAP implementation finance support for Kite ACE.
- Build, consolidate and publish summary files for reporting and analysing actuals, forecasts and budgets.
- Own ad‑hoc projects and lead cross‑functional work streams.
- Initiate value‑add activities within Finance and Commercial functions.
- Develop process improvements for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to business partnering.
- BA/BS in Business/Accounting or a professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Experience with revenue & OPEX recognition and knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
- Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions) and PowerPoint with Think‑Cell.
- Proficiency in key finance systems: SAP (AO, SAC‑P), Oracle, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, OBIEE.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of managing ambiguity and complex change.
- Strong teamwork skills and experience working with stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions.
- Experience in a high‑growth, multi‑national organisation is a plus.
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
