Financial Analyst

Job Description

Canon UK are looking for a Financial Analyst. The Financial analyst must have strong knowledge of all systems, reporting and accounting processes used within the Financial accounting department. This role will cover both CUK, Ireland and CEL responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of all systems and reporting (Oracle, CEMIS, BI)
• Complete the Month-end closing in a timely submission including journals, open/close ledgers etc
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and understand content of the balance sheet
• Produce monthly SGA reports for CEL and analyse variances
• Management of ROU leased assets, rental and service charges
• Process Capex Forms, Additions and Disposals
  - Maintenance of FA Register
• Prepare SUI schedules (supplementary information)
• Cash allocation/bank/DD related queries from the business and general bank responsibilities
• Support the periodic audit process and SOX controls

• Part-qualified accountant with strong double-entry accounting
• High level of Technical/reporting skills and capability
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using different IT system

£42,000 - £48,000 (dependant on experience) plus 10% annual bonus and a great benefits package.
