The Management Accountant (End-to-End Bookkeeping) takes ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping processes across our German and Jersey entities. • Analyze financial data and provide clear explanations of financial performance to non‑financial stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and local regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records for tax reporting purposes and assist with tax filings as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations
  • Support financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for business planning
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role with end-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Business fluent German language skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB)
  • Experience with account reconciliations and financial consolidation processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and/or Navigen software
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
  • Ability to work with multiple currencies and international accounting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Highly Desirable
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with Jersey financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial software implementation
  • Previous experience in a multi‑entity or international business environment
  • Understanding of UK/US GAAP or IFRS in addition to German HGB standards
  • Experience with process automation and optimization in financial operations
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools for financial reporting
Personal Attributes
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non‑financial colleagues
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies
