An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a fast-paced international business supporting finance operations across the EMEA region.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with high volume purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants exposure to a large, multinational finance function. You'll be joining a supportive team environment with plenty of variety, responsibility and opportunities to develop your finance career.

Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities

  • Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain supplier accounts and resolve invoice or payment queries in a timely manner
  • Manage and monitor the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring requests are actioned promptly
  • Review and validate purchase orders and supporting documentation
  • Assist with weekly payment runs and supplier payment processing
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain vendor master data
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Support month end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work closely with colleagues across finance to ensure accurate processing and reporting
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives

Accounts Payable Clerk Requirements

  • Previous Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experience
  • Comfortable working in a high volume processing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding PO and non PO invoicing
  • Experience working with multi-currency transactions would be advantageous
  • Strong Excel
  • SAP experience would be highly desirable
  • Previous experience within an FMCG, retail, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced environment
