We are partnering with a well-established organisation in North West London seeking a Head of IT to act as the operational lead within a growing technology function.

Reporting to the IT Director, this is a pivotal number two role with full accountability for IT operations and a central role in delivering a multi-year systems transformation programme. The organisation operates a managed service model, with key infrastructure and application services delivered via third-party partners.

This role will suit a broad technology leader with strong supplier governance experience and the ability to balance operational stability with change delivery.

• Lead IT infrastructure and support services delivered via MSPs
• Own service performance, SLAs, KPIs and supplier governance
• Oversee procurement and supplier management within a regulated/public sector framework
• Act as senior escalation point for operational IT matters
• Hold Systems Integrators and delivery partners accountable for programme milestones and outcomes
• Support the delivery of major initiatives across finance, HR, integration and data platforms

• Proven senior IT leadership experience (Head of IT, IT Operations Lead or similar)
• Strong experience managing MSPs and third-party technology providers
• Experience delivering technology change in a partner-led or outsourced model
• Broad understanding of infrastructure, enterprise applications and data environments
• Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management skills

This is a hybrid working role based in North West London and offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in a significant period of technology change.
