Director, Indirect Procurement (Strategic) (Interim)

Role: Full-time, Contract

Responsible for developing and executing the indirect procurement strategy to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance across all non-production categories. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, drives innovation in sourcing practices, and fosters strong supplier relationships to deliver long term value.

Define and implement a global indirect procurement strategy aligned with corporate goals.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance and innovation.

Partner with senior leadership and functional heads to understand business needs and priorities.

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Lead and mentor a team of category managers and procurement professionals based offshore.

• Degree level education preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field MBA or equivalent preferred
• Substantial procurement experience, with proven experience in a leadership role focused on indirect categories.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of procurement technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
